According to a story, F-Secure has reported that about 400 mobile phone viruses exist have been detected.

The story also states that most mobile phone users feel it is the service provider's responsibility to insure their phones are adequately protected. Unfortunately, I feel users are in for a quite rude awakening. Service providers will begin to offer 3rd party Mobile Anti-Virus software with each phone sale. The providers will then leave the burden of protection on the users.
